Learn the role of the NFT Creator and each of the participants in the NFT community

What is an NFT Creator?

THE NFT community is a vibrant community of creators, collectors, fans, collaborators, flippers and ambassadors. They all understand NFTs and the possibilities these bring to the table. People are what keep the NFT art booming. They are all essential to what influences the market.

It’s much more than hype

NFT projects can’t thrive in the long term, without a vibrant community. Through channels like Discord, Twitter and social media, the community empowers and encourages each other. These meeting places and private and public forums have become a place for solving questions and asking for help or obtain advice.

As a member of a NFT community, you become an ambassador, part of an exclusive group, and a loyalty program, all at the same time.

Anyone can influence the future of the NFT project since, sometimes, the community decides what’s next and how the roadmap for the project evolves. For example, the community may vote on the project revenue model, or help establish new collabs (collaborations) with other NFT creators.

NFT Creators

Creators are the artists, producers, entrepreneurs behind an NFT project or collection. Theyโ€™re the individuals or groups creating communities and building this new industry. Leveraging the power of blockchain technology, creators are engaging their fans, supporters, collectors and communities by inviting their community to participate and take ownership of the projects mission and future direction.

Collectors

They’re visionaries as well, recognising the creators work and the potential of the NFT collection or project and their community.

Fans

Fans hold on to their token not only for money but also because they appreciate them and even identify themselves in some characters. Fans are an active part of the community and its direction.

Collabs (aka Collaborations)

Artist, brand and creator collaborations are an undeniable cornerstone of modern pop culture and the NFT movement. Established creators may collaborate with others by co-promoting the launch or initial minting of an NFT or provide value back to your exisiting community. ie. Airdrops of tokens to other creators.

Flippers

Flippers are speculators and act like fast buyers; they often buy many newly minted NFTs and sell them shortly in the secondary market. They hope to make a quick profit.
