Decentralising the no-code tools in web3

The converging trends of web3, decentralisation and no-code tooling has created opportunities for a new industry of web tools to help onboarding a new generation of creators and the next billion users into the emerging industry.

With the anticipated mainstream adoption of tokenisation and NFTs, a growing audience of creator are entering the burgeoning industry and are searching for web3 and NFT tools to get started. In the past 10 years, young and emerging creatives and content creators have chosen to host crowdfunding campaigns, sell products or experiences through website builder tools or sell subscriptions on the likes of Patreon as a way to create sustainable incomes.

Today, many innovators and early adopters in the creative industries are turning to web3 tools like AutoMinter to pilot and experiment with new community-based models for new ideas and projects. A super-engaged web3 audience of early adopters and degens is in the millions and this critical mass of users continues to present a real opportunity for creators and builders. Even in crypto winter.

New tools for tokenising audiences and communities, like AutoMinter, are not unique to web3 or web2 for that matter. However, these tools do solve a number of key problems for creators right now. These tools provide simple and easy-to-use interfaces to learn, create and build on the blockchain. The services often provide expertise, technical resources, experience and support in deploying smart contracts, generating NFT artwork, minting and purchasing NFTs.

Traditionally, a small number of tools and platforms tend to dominate the tooling space and attract significant VC funds to further leverage their position and increase market share. Subsequently, the staff, management, investors and potentially the regulators of these very centralised platforms play a huge part in the industry growth and innovation. We donโ€™t believe itโ€™s going to be any different for new centralised platforms in web3. And itโ€™s already started.

But the key question we asked ourselves is, should these tools be decentralised (similar to the protocols like Ethereum) and what model ultimately wins in the long-term?

For online platforms and marketplaces, much of the value created is through the creators that choose to use the service, along with a group of ambassadors – particularly the early adopters and advocates of the service.

We believe that decentralised platforms will emerge and disrupt the centralised players – and ultimately dominate. This is why AutoMinter has decided to transition to a DAO structure and start the process of building a decentralised toolkit of web3 services that are owned by the creator and builders that contribute to its success.

Also, as an organisation and a new emerging brand in the space, if we want to shape the evolution of web3, and of course decentralisation, we must live and breathe decentralisation as an organisation and get to understand the problems weโ€™re solving

We invite you to journey us on this journey and share the experience – so please learn about the AutoMinter Token and plans to transition to decentralisation organisation. Airdrop 8th November 2022.
