AutoMinter is becoming a Decentralized Autonomous Organisation.
How will the token work, and how will it be allocated? Let’s answer both these questions here.
What is $AMR?
$AMR is the new ERC-20 token powering the AutoMinter DAO. It represents governance and ownership of AutoMinter. Enabling holders to be involved in key decisions such as strategic opportunities, revenue allocation, resource allocation and which product features get prioritised.
Why have a token?
DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations) are changing the way organisations run by giving shared ownership and decision making to their members. All DAOs are run by communities, and AutoMinter helps creators build these communities with NFTs.
Our mission is to help and support as many creators as possible to build the decentralised web3 economy of the future. We believe that we can achieve our mission faster by becoming fully decentralised. The token is essential in sharing ownership with our community and users.
Who gets $AMR?
The initial supply of $AMR will be a claimable airdrop to those who used and supported AutoMinter, as well as the wider web3 community.
The future supply will be earned via “volume rewards” to projects which use AutoMinter. Up to 5% of each project’s revenue is automatically exchanged with the AutoMinter DAO for $AMR. We’re aligning rewards with project success.
The amount of $AMR which will be earned over time will decrease from 5%. Meaning that earlier projects will get a larger share of the tokens. There is a theoretical maximum supply limit of 1Billion tokens.
All $AMR tokens earned through airdrops and creator rewards are temporarily locked for a period of time in order to stabilise the price and disincentive short-term wash trading.
Can I claim an Airdrop?
You must join the access list here. If you hold a PRO Pass or have deployed a collection on Ethereum mainnet, you are guaranteed tokens in the airdrop.
PRO Pass holders will receive the most tokens (More passes = more tokens)
A mint page for the token will be shared on the 8th November via our official channels (discord and twitter) for you to claim the tokens.
Anyone who wishes to claim the token can also join the access list. Priority will be given to those who refer the most, and who are members of AutoMinter made communities.
Whatโs the plan?
Once the token is launched on the 8th of November, creators will instantly be able to earn $AMR via minting NFT Collections on AutoMinter.
Our infrastructure will continue to become more decentralised as we remove dependence on our APIs. This will help AutoMinter to become more robust, and more resistant to censorship. Allowing creators to build with a community of other creators.
Governance will become more decentralized over the coming months. We are releasing features for creating one-click DAOs and this will be used for running the AutoMinter DAO itself. Until then, we will continue as we currently do, shipping the communities most requested features.
How can I get more $AMR in the airdrop?
Buying more PRO Passes, creating more collections on ETH Mainnet, and sharing your access list with the unique invite code will earn you more tokens from the airdrop!
